If You Are a Current Mentality Patient

Mentality's routine communication channels—including voicemail, email, the patient portal, and social-media messaging—are not emergency services.

If you are experiencing an emergency, use the emergency resources above rather than waiting for a response from your therapist.

If you are experiencing an urgent but non-emergency concern related to your treatment, use the communication method provided to you by your clinician or practice.

Telehealth and Crisis Situations

Telehealth appointments are not a substitute for emergency services.

If a crisis occurs during a telehealth appointment, Mentality may take reasonable steps consistent with applicable law and clinical circumstances to address the immediate safety concern, including contacting emergency or crisis resources.

Patients receiving telehealth services should provide accurate information about their current physical location when requested so that appropriate emergency resources can be identified if necessary.
